Entrance Fee: 10 Baht to visit the museum located half way to the top of the building. Visiting the golden buddha itself is free.

Wat Tham Pha Plong is a beautiful and serene forest wát lies on the edge of the Chiang Dao massif. A steep naga stairway climbs through the forest to the rocky crevice where the revered meditation master Luang Pu Sim once practised. The golden stupa is located above and in front of the actual temple inside the cave.This temple is a renowned meditation center that can accommodate up to 200 people.

This is in Khun Han about 50 kilometers from Si Saket and 25 km from Kantharalak.Construction of this was initiated in 1984 by a monk who had the idea to collect empty bottles and cover the surface of all the buildings of the temple with them.
