Songkron

Songkran is a Thai traditional New Year which falls between 13th to 15th April every year. Songkran is also called the “Water Festival”. Thailand welcomes the new year in a special way by sprinkling water on each other. The 2nd day (14th April) of the festival celebrated with family. Younger’s seek blessings from elders and everyone wish the coming New Year will prosperous their lives with happiness & wealth. 15th April is regarded as New Year Day.

Loi krathong is held each year on a full moon day evening on 12th month of the traditional Thai lunar calendar. This is know as Festival of lights,this honors Buddha and goddess of the river. People lauch krathongs. A krathong is a small lotus-shaped vessel usually made from a banana tree stalk or even bread and adorned with flowers, candles, and incense sticks. On the night of the full moon, people gather around lakes, rivers, or canals to release these ornate baskets onto the water.Date usually falls in November.

Chiang Mai: The festival runs over 3 days at the start of February usually Feb 1st - Feb 4th each year. On the first day of the festival there is an agricultural fair as well as the exhibition of floral arrangements and landscaping trends. On the other there is an elaborate display of splendid flower floats, a fair that showcases local works of art, music shows, display of beautiful ornamental plants.
Chiang Rai: Visitors can enjoy Chiang Rai’s enchanting tulip and lilies and the sight of many kinds of cold-climate flowers which are all in full bloom in spring season.This festival is conducted between December to February.

Boon Bang Fai Rocket Festival

Visit Northeastern Thailand and take part in one of the grandest festivities of Isan region - "Rocket Festival" or Prapheni Bun Bung Fai. Witness hundreds of rockets or "Bang Fai" launched into the sky to please the god of rain and fertility Phraya Thaen. In this festival we can witness the biggest venues for Boon Bang Fai, where there will be a parades for lavishly decorated Bang Fai carts, traditional dance, and the competition of international Rocket. This usually takes place in June - July.
